DEZD is an acronym for Dimili, Elewi, Zaza, and Dersimi, it describes a multidimensional structure where regional, linguistic, and religious complexity and diversity within the community are inextricably and pluralistically intertwined as a holistic characteristic of identity. The acronym unites the various facets of the community under one umbrella (four pillars), expressing the four central aspects of its collective self-perception. The term is also required to describe or define the entire population that speaks the same language. | DEZD [tar.] |
