| Autoren: | RUTH, K; MORITZ, E. F. | Titel: | Pooling Competence - some practical implications for enhancing cooperative innovation. | Abstract: | In a bi-national comparison between German and Japanese industrial cultures this paper tries to reveal the potential and actual problems of cooperative product innovation processes. The analyses are led by idea of innovation competence which is interpreted as a synthesis of the different innovative actors contributions. As relevant actors engineers, technicians and skilled workers are considered. The Japanese approach to cooperation is tentatively paraphrased as "context-dependent ritualization", and the German type as "skill/competence based disputation". The article concludes with some suggestions for shaping a new cooperative dialogue between designers and workers. | Herausgeber: | Brandt, D. | Buch/Zeitschriftname: | Proceedings of the 6th IFAC Symposium on Automated Systems Based on Human Skill - Joint Design of Technology and Organisation. | Verlag: | | Ort: | Kranjka gora, Slovenia | Jahr: | 1997 | Jhrg.: | | BdNr.: | | HeftNr.: | | Seitenzahl: | 151-154 | ISBN/ISSN: | | Preis: | 2,50 DM | BestellNr.
