Updating the VOD-db with YouTube content

The Site VOD-DB works semi - automatic, meaning that whatever certain up-loaders @ Youtube upload then passes the Website filters. The Website Perl Code then tries to reformat its findings as good as it can.

Because its hard to predict how and what youtube up-loaders write in their descriptions, titles and tags, that's where the (semi) manual labor starts.

A pre youtube feed writes relevant info's and links into a pre selection database that I check every other day. If the info & relevance is good I pass it through to the main VOD-db and edit some missing info if needed.

this way I can guaranty relevant Starcraft youtube videos and their matching info'e like, race, maps, players, date league/event and filter out all the crap that normally runs under the TAG STARCRAFT. This cuts my personal time work-load down to about 20 to 30 minutes per day!

This all would not be possible if up-loaders would chaoticly miss relevant info in their descriptions!
