Munich, Germany - Dave McLlwain scored the lone goal of the night as the Kölner Haie blanked the Hamburg Freezers on the road in Tuesday night action in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).

With 12,400 in attendance at Hamburg’s Color Line Arena, McLlwain’s power-play goal at 14:05 of the second period made the difference in a good, but low-scoring contest. Although both teams had quality opportunities, McLlwain’s wrister remained the only score in Cologne’s 1-0 (0-0, 1-0, 0-0) win. Haie netminder Chris Rogles made 26 saves en route to his first shutout of the season.
