The two DEL veterans were arrested August 23 on suspicion of raping a 20-year-old Swedish girl at their team hotel during a pre-season trip to Sweden.
A lawyer representing the players, Lars Engstrand, told the AP the woman decided not to press charges.
"This is wonderful, fantastic, I'm very satisfied with the result. And I must say it wasn't unexpected. It's just a pity that it took so long," Engstrand said.
GM: "Happy for their families""We are happy that they are free again", said Eisbären GM Detlef Kornett, "especially for their families. Both players are innocent and now we can all concentrate on hockey again. We will sit down with Bergen and Corriveau upon their return to Berlin and talk about their futures."
The Eisbären organisation had suspended Bergen and Corriveau shortly after their arrest.
